My Why:
What does Truth mean to you?
Is it just an abstract concept - intriguing, but unimportant for daily life? Or is it the thing around which all other things arrange themselves?
I believe there is Truth that is knowable and livable, and which can set our whole selves into thriving motion. Stories are a vessel for Truth: they let us explore it and absorb it like nothing else can.
I want to use Stories to present Truth in a way you can not only swallow, but enjoy. (Who doesn't love a spoonful of sugar with their medicine?)
Growing up on L'Engle and Lewis convinced me that through the creation of new, fantastic worlds, we can see our world more clearly.
Though I can't bodily throw you into the worlds I've created, I can open the windows and lift the curtains enough to provide you a view. I can say, "You're welcome here, come and see."
